MAKING EQUATIONS
1. First you need to go to an external website to make the equation. Try CodeCogs.
2. On this page, type the equation you want in the large box. Below the box, it will display how it will actually look.
3. When done, look down at the bottom of the screen and find a smaller box. Select HTML from the drop down list.
4. Copy the code text that appears in this box.
5. Return to your wiki page and get into edit mode.
6. In the position where you want the equation to appear, choose Insert - HTML/Java Script
7. Paste your code text into the box that appears and click NEXT and then click INSERT PLUGIN.
8. A green box will appear while in edit mode. The proper equation should appear when you save and return to View.
|
HH (helpful hint): Equations will be made a lot. Try assigning this task to one or two people so they become experts.
